Soumia Allalou, B.C.L./L.L.B.

Your legal advocate in family, marriage, criminal, employment law, and more.

Soumia Allalou completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto with High Distinction in 2013. She was the recipient of the Graduation Prize in Political Science for her outstanding achievements and academic record as a member of the graduating class in the political science program. She went on to earn dual law degrees, in both Common Law and Civil Law from McGill University’s Faculty of Law in 2016.

Prior to joining Kutty and Associates as an Associate Lawyer, Soumia summered and articled with Legal Aid Ontario, working extensively in both criminal defence and family law. As an articling student, she took on criminal defence litigation work at the Major Case Management Office, Duty Counsel services at Old City Hall courthouse, and family law litigation work at the Family Law Service Centre.

Soumia successfully completed her licensing requirements and was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2018. Soumia is fluent in English, French and Arabic and can provide legal services in both of Canada’s official languages. She has appeared before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and focuses her practice in the areas of family litigation and criminal defence.

Jasmeen Grewal

Associate Lawyer

Jasmeen Grewal earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with Distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2019. She went on to complete her Juris Doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023, where she was co-president of both the Osgoode Hall Family Law Association and the South Asian Law Students Association.

Prior to joining Allalou Law as an Associate Lawyer, Jasmeen had the opportunity to work with great organizations such as Pro Bono Students Canada and Parkdale Community Legal Services as a caseworker assisting clients with employment disputes. She completed her articles at Allalou Law before being called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2024.

At Allalou Law, Jasmeen’s practice primarily focuses on family law and deals with various issues related to divorce, child support, spousal support, decision-making, parenting time, equalization, and more. She believes in taking a compassionate, creative, and child-centric approach to assisting clients through a difficult transition in their lives and to obtain the best possible resolution. Jasmeen can provide legal services in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.

Nurulayn Noor

Associate Lawyer

Nurulayn Noor received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with High Distinction from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2018. She continued her academic pursuit by completing her law degree in Common Law from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law in 2022.

Prior to joining Allalou Law as an Associate Lawyer, Nurulayn Noor gained diverse legal experience through summer placements at various firms and organizations, including Habitat for Humanity. She later articled at a general family practice in North York.

In October 2023, Nurulayn was called to the Bar of Ontario after successfully completing her licensing requirements. She currently focuses her practice primarily on family litigation. Fluent in English, Swedish, Bengali, Hindi, and Urdu, she effectively communicates with clients in all languages.

Nurulayn’s academic background in Sociology, combined with her legal expertise, gives her a deep understanding of how family conflicts arise within society and how they can be addressed through legal frameworks. Nurulayn strongly advocates for trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approaches in family law, ensuring that her clients receive compassionate and tailored legal support.

Beyond her legal practice, Nurulayn is passionate about academic research and public speaking. In her final year of law school, she presented her paper on the Ontario Human Rights Code at the 14th Annual Canadian Law School Conference. In 2018, she co-presented a paper at the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva.

Sara Constantini

Paralegal

Sara Constantini began working at Allalou Law in 2022. She graduated with Honours from the Paralegal Diploma Program at Sheridan College in 2019, and obtained her Paralegal License in the same year.

Sara is understanding, empathetic, and strongly dedicated to helping clients from all different walks of life. She is able to extend exceptional legal support for client files. Sara is fluent in both English and Arabic languages.
